When You Join

When you join the POP Movement you are accepting principles over people no matter what. This means everyone gets treated the same — it doesn’t matter the race, religion, politics, ethnicity, gender, age, ability, social status, circumstance, or label. There are no exceptions.

Living Principally-Based

This is a standard that when applied, Principles over People has the potential to redeem humanity; to safeguard society from the tension, hostility, anger, and hate that exists by directing human behavior. Principles over People is a commitment to a brighter future, offering real security, safety, and fairness to people everywhere. To start living principally-based, follow the steps below.

I love being part of this movement. It gives me a sense of purpose independent of life's chaos and craziness. And I while remaining deeply connected and engaged with my family, friends, and those I work with. Honestly, it feels good being part of something good.

Lizzie Thompson

As I've striven to live principles over everyone and everything, I've become more resilient, more loving, and most of all a more courageous person. My life is filled with meaning and I am able to look forward to every day with hope and ambition rather than fear and negativity like I used to.

Parker Scott

I'm wondering why I never contacted these guys sooner! They have commendable talent in their fields and knocked my concept out of the ballpark. An amazing experience!

FAQ

HOW DO I GET MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE POP MOVEMENT?

The best connection to the POP Movement (i.e., to get updates about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, or other information) is to become a POP Member. As a member you will get exclusive access to information, resources, and support.

IS IT TRUE POP OFFERS INCENTIVES LIKE SCHOLARSHIPS AND REWARDS?

Absolutely. In our efforts to make principles like kindness, courage, and integrity contagious we offer a variety of incentive for principally-based behaviors.

PRINCIPLES OVER PEOPLE? I AM CONFUSED, SHOULDN'T I BE CONCERNED WITH PEOPLE?

Yes, of course you should be concerned with people — with everyone — that’s the point. Principles over People does not mean people don’t matter. It means that you are committed to a standard that treats everyone the same regardless of who they are, what they believe, or where they have come from. Ultimately the fair treatment of every person is our goal; and, this can only happen when we act the same way to everyone.

HOW ARE THE MEMBERSHIP FEES, STORE PROFITS, AND DONATIONS USED?

This is a great question! Right now, our focus is growing POP Membership. We believe the more members we have, the quicker we can get our message that principles matter into homes, schools, and businesses and end the existing tension, anger, and hate in society. Every dollar we have is spent on encouraging others to put politics and popularity aside and do what’s right – make principles matter.

WHAT ABOUT PRINCIPLE PARADOXES?

George Washington is widely regarded as a moral leader. He also engaged in deception. He willingly lied to his adversaries as well as his own troops about his intentions and resources. He also held slaves and had them work in his plantations. Today, employees are obligated to keep trade information secrets instead of having the liberty of sharing it with anyone. Soldiers are often ordered to kill in order to protect. Wisdom is a principle for a reason. We make the wisest decision we can until we know better, then we focus on doing better.

WHAT ARE THE PRINCIPLES OF POP?

There are eleven core principles that we practice:

  1. Wisdom
  2. Integrity
  3. Hard-Work
  4. Gratitude
  5. Love
  6. Self-Control
  7. Justice
  8. Humility
  9. Optimism
  10. Courage
  11. Liberty
