Emotional Interventions – Severe

  • Breathe

Take deep slow breathes, filling your lungs to capacity and slowly exhaling for 5-minutes. 

  • Laugh

Choose a sketch to watch of your favorite comedian and look for some of their comedy routines on YouTube.

  • Music

Stop what you are doing. For the next 5-minutes listen to the music of the world. Whether you are at home, at work, or in a park stop and listen to the sounds around you.

Take 5-minutes and tell someone you know AND TRUST about a hope or dream you have.  

  • Risk

For 5-minute be courageous and strong by saying and/ or doing something outside your comfort zone.

  • games

Have fun. Take a 5-minute break to play a quick game.
